Brazilian Hacker threaten to disrupt the FIFA world cup with attacks in which they will steal data and Jam websites.
A country in which online crimes are increasing day by day, a challenging telecommunication infrastructure having little experience about cyber attacks, authorities of Brazil are in hurry to protect the government sites including Fifa’s governing body.
The bad news is Brazil government is spending $14 Billions from federal funds on the preparation of World Cup, in last June more than One Million brazilians together who were calling for better public services, crackdown on corruption and greater transparency.
Hackers have threaten sites which belongs to FIFA, the government, other organizers or corporate sponsors
Hackers Said:
“We are already making plans,” said an alleged hacker who goes by the name of Eduarda Dioratto. “I don’t think there is much they can do to stop us.”“The attacks will be directed against official websites and those of companies sponsoring the Cup” a hacker with code name Che Commodore said in a conversation
A security expert William Beer said “It’s not a question of whether the Cup will be targeted, but when“, “So resilience and response become extremely important.”
Brazil said he is ready or as ready as it can be.
General José Carlos dos Santos, the head of the cyber command for Brazil’s army:
“It would be reckless for any nation to say it’s 100 percent prepared for a threat”, “But Brazil is prepared to respond to the most likely cyber threats.”
